Another Backyard Weather Site
This is the beginning of a web page focused on testing various weather software and hardware.  I currently have two operating "weather stations".  The above two Weather Underground Stickers will take you to the two stations.  One is at my office, on the campus of the University of Minnesota, and the other at home.  The Vadnais Heights "home" station is a Davis Instruments Weather Monitor II.  It is interfaced via Weatherlink 5.7.  The weather vane and anemometer are still waiting to be installed, along with the rain gauge.  The top two links to the left are to that station's data. The data presentation will be enhanced as I get to that.  The work station is custom and the details about it can be found at it's own website.

And...
This website is served via Tinyweb running on an old Thinkpad.  The OS at the moment is Windows 98.  It works...   I have also set up Greymatter Blog software and am testing that out.   Click on the Weblog link to see if that is working.  It is a relatively simple PERL based script that does not need PHP or a database which makes life much easier.  I tried setting up the Blosxom software but was not able to get that to go.  Perhaps another day.  The counter is courtesy of muquit.  More software details and such to follow.
